1. Dubai For Winter Sun With The Family

Dubai in April boasts warm and sunny weather, with temperatures averaging between 25°C and 35°C, making it perfect for beach days and outdoor adventures.

2. Lanzarote or other Canary Islands

We visited Lanzarote in November for a family holiday, and the weather was lovely. The temperature in April normally hovers around a comfortable 23°C with averages of a degree or two warmer in the southern and western coastal resorts.  Nights can be rather chilly though, with an average of 15°C. 3. Mexico Is A Great Place To Take The Kids For The Easter Holidays

April is one of the best times to visit Mexico for a family holiday, thanks to its warm, dry weather, stunning beaches, and rich cultural experiences. With temperatures ranging from 25°C to 30°C, it’s perfect for enjoying the pristine shores of Cancun, Riviera Maya, or Los Cabos.

Families can explore ancient Mayan ruins like Chichén Itzá. Snorkel in crystal-clear cenotes, or experience the vibrant traditions of Semana Santa (Holy Week). Plus, with fewer crowds than the peak winter months, April offers a more relaxed and enjoyable vacation for both parents and kids.

With its long, sandy beach perfect for surf lessons, and quad biking, it’s an ideal spot for families seeking both adventure and relaxation. Plus, the traffic-free medina, a UNESCO World Heritage site, offers a safe and fascinating place to explore, making Essaouira a perfect blend of culture and seaside fun for families.

With temperatures around 28°C to 32°C, the weather is perfect for enjoying the island’s beautiful beaches, such as those in Mirissa and Bentota, where families can relax or take part in water sports.

Easter also coincides with the Sinhala and Tamil New Year celebrations, offering a unique opportunity for kids to experience Sri Lanka’s rich traditions, including colourful parades, cultural performances, and festive feasts. Beyond the beaches, families can embark on exciting wildlife safaris in Yala National Park, visit ancient temples, or explore scenic tea plantations. 10. Orlando At Easter, The Kids Will Love The Epcot Flower Festival

11. Staycation, Stay At Home For Easter And Explore Close To Home

England offers an abundance of family holiday options, from the bustling streets and cultural treasures of London to the stunning landscapes of the Lake District, perfect for outdoor adventures. In Cornwall or Wales, families can enjoy sandy beaches, the Eden Project, and coastal villages, while the Cotswolds offer peaceful countryside escapes and family attractions like Cotswold Wildlife Park.

For a fun-filled day, head to Paultons Park with its Peppa Pig World for younger kids, or explore the historic castles and towns of Yorkshire for a more relaxed experience. With so many options, you’re sure to find the perfect getaway for the whole family.

12. New York At Easter, It’s A Great Time To Visit With Kids

We love New York and Easter in New York City is a magical time for families, with a blend of iconic attractions, special events, and springtime charm. The city’s famous landmarks, like Central Park, the Empire State Building, and Times Square, are even more enchanting in the spring sunshine.

Kids can enjoy the annual Easter Parade on Fifth Avenue, a colourful and lively event with creative hats and street performances. Many of the city’s museums, such as the American Museum of Natural History and the Children’s Museum of Manhattan, offer Easter-themed activities and interactive exhibits.
