Last weekend I had the privilege of staying at Chapel House which is a stunning property and the perfect retreat for families, friends, or couples wanting a week or a weekend away in Rhosneir, Anglesey. The house is literally in the middle of Rhosneigr a stone’s throw from the beach and all the lovely restaurants and cafes to eat in.

Chapel House is a topsy turvey house which means its 4 beautiful bedrooms are on the ground floor. The 4 bedrooms include a king-size room, a double room, a twin room (which can be converted to a double upon request), and a triple bunk room with a queen-size bed below and a single above. There is a lovely family bathroom, with a bath and a shower, and the two double rooms have en-suite shower rooms too.

On the top floor there is a really well-equipped kitchen/diner that opens onto the balcony (which has a place to eat AND a hot tub on it too!!. There are two lounge areas and from a lot of the windows you can see right down to the sea. In the winter the wood burning stove that sits between the two lounge areas is a real treat.

This four bedroom property in Rhosneigr is also pet-friendly, and you can take your two well-behaved dogs too.

Rhosneigr itself is a brilliant place to spend time outdoors walking on the beach, or even using the local golf course, tennis courts, or watersport centers. We also took time to use the fab sauna on the beach and run into the water to cool down (yes in the middle of January).

For those who want to go further, a short drive across the Menai Bridge leads to Snowdonia National Park too.

I can’t recommend Chapel House highly enough and if you’re looking for a 4 bedroom house in Anglesey to sleep up to 9, then this is the house for you.
