Launched in 2010 and originally refurbished in 2015, Allure of the Seas remains one of Royal Caribbean’s most beloved Oasis Class ships. She can host up to 6,780 passengers across 2,745 cabins, with a dedicated crew of around 2,200 ensuring the experience runs seamlessly. Measuring an impressive 1,187 feet long and 215 feet wide, and weighing a staggering 225,282 gross tons, she’s a true floating city.

Recently, Allure of the Seas underwent a $100 million renovation, giving her a fresh, modern look and enhancing everything from entertainment spaces to dining venues and stateroom features. This revitalisation ensures she continues to deliver that signature Royal Caribbean wow factor, combining innovation, comfort, and adventure at sea.

Bars On Allure Of The Seas

Allure of the Seas has 19 bars, which also include the suite lounge, diamond lounge and pool bars. Offering a huge amount of choice at all times of day and night, perfect for cocktails by the pool or pre-dinner drinks.

If you check your Crown and Anchor, there is always something going on around the ship. Whether it’s a pop quiz, general knowledge quiz or pre-dinner cocktail music, you will always find something to suit your mood.

If you are able to calculate how many drinks you might drink per day, it’s easy to calculate if a drinks package is for you. Don’t forget to factor in water and sort drinks and coffee, as these all add up too.

Soda Stations Onboard

If you have a soda packageyou don’t even need to go to the bar to get a drink. You will be allocated a souvenir cup. You can head to the soda station for a refill, which offers lots of choices and is located by Sorrento’s Pizza on Deck 5, the Windjammer deck 16, and El Loco Fresh deck 15.

As of March 2026, Royal Caribbean has stopped issuing the souvenir cup with refreshment or deluxe drink packages. However, you can purchase it for $4.95 and use it with your package.

Restaurants On Allure of The Seas

You will find 21 restaurants and eateries on Allure of the Seas: 11 included in the price of your Royal Caribbean Cruise and 10 with extra charges or speciality dining.

On top of this you can opt for in room dining, just grab a coffee from Starbucks or sweets from Sugar Beach (All at an extra cost)

Royal Caribbean Dining Package

There are several choices for speciality dining packages, here is a guide of what you can expect to pay, but also check out our in depth dining package guide.

• Unlimited Dining Package, Currently £31.71 but can go up to £48.80
• The 3 Night Dining Package, currently £117.26 per adult, but can go up to £149.08
• Chops Plus 1 Dining Package, £73.54, but can go up to £93.17

Children are complementary from age of 0-5. You have two options for Children aged 6-12. The dining plan costs half the adult price; however, you don’t need to book the package for kids. You can pay as you go. This way, children 6-12 pay $12.99 per child to dine and must order from the kids’ menu.

Free Dining On Allure of the Seas

Main Dining Room (There are 3 dining rooms, split over deck 3, 4 and deck 5)

The main dining room offers a wide range of meals, open every evening on sea days for lunch and breakfast. With themed nights from around the world the menu never gets dull.

Make sure you check your app to find out when lobster night is. This is usually on both formal nights, and you can order 1 lobster. tail for free for dinner. Any extra cost more. Make sure you read the menu properly, trust me, it looks like there is a charge, but the charge is only for extra lobster tails. We made that mistake once!

• Sorrento’s, For delicious pizza, with a choice of toppings.
• Boardwalk Doughnuts, freshly brewed coffee and cakes for sweet treats and snacks.
• Boardwalk Dog House, for hot dog choices of dreams, from tradition to chicken to German Thuringer or a pork bratwurst.
• Windjammer, The Windjammer is Royal Caribbean’s famous buffet restaurant, offering more choice than you can ever image for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Watch out for the desserts, they are divine.
• Park Café, a deli-themed snack bar to grab a quick soup, salad or sandwich, and of course, there is always cake and sweet treats. Check out the beef sandwich, it’s cooked pink and delicious, although if, like me, you are not a bread fan, have a beef salad.
• Café Promenade, The Café Promenade is open around the clock for quick snacks, fresh sandwiches, pastries, fruit, cakes and coffee. There is always something delicious for tasty snacks. It’s also a great place to grab an on-the-go fruit pot.
• Vitality Spa Café, For healthy snacks such as specialty wraps, fresh fruits and yogurt, and smoothies.
• Solarium Bistro, The Solarium Bistro offers fresh ingredients and Mediterranean flavours for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Speciality Dining On The Allure of the Seas

• Izumi Hibachi & Sushi offers a wonderful selection of sushi and Asian dishes. Try the Hibachi; not only is it so much fun, but the food is incredible. We try to book this for every cruise.
• Johnny Rockets is a wonderful 1950s-themed American Diner, offering delicious burgers and shakes with a twist. It also offers free breakfast, which is fab.
• Coastal Kitchen, The Coastal Kitchen is reserved for suite and jnr Suite Guests and offers a varied á la carte menu.
• Chops Grille, A steakhouse offering a delicious choice of steak, lobster and a selection of alternative mains. We loved Chop’s Grille; the steak was fabulous.
• 150 Central Park, our favourite restaurant on board, don’t miss this one. 150 Central Park has a carefully curated menu spotlighting locally sourced ingredients harvested at the peak of their season.
• Chef’s Table, The chef’s table offers a five-course private dining experience with wine pairings.
• Giovanni’s Table is A casual trattoria serving delicious Italian classics. The sharing platter is excellent, and the steak is also delicious.
• Samba Grill, By night, the Solarium Bistro becomes the Samba Grill. This unique dining experience starts with a variety of delicious appetisers, including grilled meats from tender sirloin and beef ribs, Brazilian-style cured pork sausage, and more. This was not my favourite restaurant; the food was great, but it was buffet style.
• The Mason Jar, A Southern-inspired dining venue introduced during Allure’s renovation, serves up comfort food favourites like buttermilk fried chicken, shrimp and grits, and bourbon-based cocktails, all with a live country soundtrack. We loved the Mason Jar; the food was hearty and delicious, the deviled eggs were incredible, and oh wow, the desserts.
• Playmakers Sports Bar & Arcade, A lively spot for sports fans, brings the energy with big-screen TVs, classic bar bites, and arcade games. Grab wings, sliders, or a cold beer while cheering on your team; it’s the ultimate casual hangout. These are the best burgers ever. We always make time for playmakers.

What’s The Difference Between Free Dining And Speciality Dining?

Apart from the obvious, that one is free of charge and one isn’t, speciality dining on Allure of the Seas offers an upscale experience, which feels special and a bit unique.

However, whilst I personally adore trying different speciality dining options, I wouldn’t book it for my entire cruise. The dining rooms included in the price of a Royal Caribbean Cruise are fabulous, the waiters go above and beyond to make your dining experience special, they are accommodating and wonderful with children. They just can’t do enough for you.

Honestly, don’t underestimate Royal Caribbean main dining, we have never had a bad meal, a wrong food choice maybe? But never ever a bad meal. But it’s always great to try out 2 or 3 specialty dining options.

Room Service Prices On Allure Of The Seas

Room service is available for guests around the clock on Allure of the Seas with the exception of the first day of your cruise, when room service is available from 5 pm, and the final evening, when service ends at 1 am.

Continental breakfast is complimentary. All other orders have a $7.95 service charge plus 18% gratuity.

The menus below are sample Royal Caribbean room service menus, however I have checked this against Allure of the Seas current sailing and it’s almost identical.

You Can Get Free Ice Cream Onboard

You will find free frozen yoghurt on deck 15, where you can enjoy unlimited ice cream. Plus, also find soft scoop ice cream or frozen yoghurt carts open at intervals around the pool, and Ice cream is served at the Windjammer and main dining rooms free of charge.

However, if you want all the flavours, head to Cups and Scoops on deck 5, where, for an extra charge, you can grab a scoop or two of Ben and Jerry’s ice cream.

You Can Also Get Free Get Coffee And Tea?

Coffee and tea are served in the restaurants, and Windjammer on Allure of the Seas, and you have a choice of free tea and coffee, or you can pay extra or use your drinks package in the restaurants for speciality coffees.

The cafe promenade and Park Cafe on decks 5 and 6 are the best places to head for free tea and coffee throughout the day. It’s also an idea to take a flask mug, then you can get a takeout, there are paper cups, however, I do like to pour a coffee and go for a wander, a flask mug keeps it warm. Also, check out the room service menus for tea and coffee, which is free of charge up to 11 am.

If Starbucks is your thing, there is also a Starbucks on deck 5 at an extra cost.

There Is So Much Food Available On Allure Of The Seas

It would be impossible to go hungry. There are meal and snack options available around the clock, with something to suit everyone, sweet- or savoury-toothed. We loved exploring all the dining options and would thoroughly recommend a three-night dining package.

Whether it’s quick dining, healthy dining to help you stay fit on your cruise or fine dining, you are never going to struggle for options. Also, you can splurge on fine dining or not spend a penny and still enjoy glorious food, sweet treats, and snacks.
