5 places to see Santa in Nottinghamshire this Christmas
There are plenty of places to visit Santa in Nottinghamshire, but here are our 5 favourite places to see Santa in Nottinghamshire this Christmas.
Set in beautiful parkland in North Nottinghamshire, Rufford Abbey provides the perfect setting for a visit to Santa.
Santa’s Grotto will be open from the 17th November and is open from 11am-4pm every Saturday and Sunday in the run up to Christmas. The cost is £5 per child and includes a gift.
On the 1st, 8th and 15th of December there is also the opportunity to have breakfast with the big man. The cost for breakfast is £11.50 per person and includes a breakfast, juices and teas and coffees, as well as a gift for children.

2. Wheatcroft Garden Centre
Situated just outside the city centre, Wheatcroft also puts on a great Santa’s grotto and is always extremely popular, so it’s advisable to pre-book online beforehand.
Santa official arrives at Wheatcroft on Sunday 18th November and runs until 24th November. The cost to visit Santa is £8.50 and includes a gift.
There is also the option to have breakfast (£7.50 for adults, £12.99 for children) or tea (from £6.95 per adults and £12.99 for children) with Santa.

3. Robin Hoods Wheelgate Park
Robin Hoods Wheelgate Park is a 30 acre family theme park and water park in Farnsfield, Nottinghamshire.
The Christmas Experience opens on 17th November. There’s GIANT Christmas tree, reindeers and the park is transformed into a magical winter wonderland.
On the 1st and 23rd of December the park is also holding breakfast with Santa events, which costs £22.99 for adults and £31.99 for kids, including full day admission to the park.

4. White Post Farm
For something a bit different, head to White Post Farm for their Christmas Experience.
There’s a Christmas Barn with a Winterland Walkthrough, the opportunity to build a snowman, Christmas crafts and of course, the opportunity to meet Santa. They hold a traditional nativity play, which is on daily at 1pm and they also have the Elf Academy where you can see if you’ve got what it takes to be an Elf.
The Christmas festivities begin from 24th November and run until Christmas Eve. They are open from 10am-5pm. All the activities are included in the standard admission price (£9.95 for adults and £9.75 for children).

5. Center Parcs Winter Wonderland
Not generally one you can do in a day, but Center Parcs in Sherwood Forest does a great Winter Wonderland every November and December. There are real reindeers, pony rides and a range of Christmas activities to get you all in the festive spirit. There’s also the opportunity to visit Santa in his Woodland Workshop.
Winter Wonderland breaks run from 9th November until 1st January and are great if you really want to push the boat out!
