Santa’s Grotto Experience – Heskin Hall Shopping Village

The garden is transformed into a cosy festive marquee, where families are welcomed to meet a delightful cast of Christmas characters. Children are captivated by an enchanting story before the moment they’ve been waiting for, meeting Father Christmas on 13th December 2025.

Every child has the chance to enjoy a personal visit with Father Christmas and receives a special age-appropriate gift, while grown-ups are free to capture the magic with their own photographs. To keep the experience truly special, each performance has a maximum of just eight children, creating an intimate and memorable atmosphere.

Part of the event takes place outdoors, so wrapping up warm is recommended. Each child’s ticket includes entry for up to two accompanying adults free of charge, but additional adults are unable to be admitted on the day. Santa’s Very Merry Christmas Returns to The Mill House Accrington in 2025

Back by popular demand, the sell-out festive experience Santa’s Very Merry Christmas is returning to The Mill Housein Accrington for 2025, promising 90 minutes of seasonal magic with a beautifully themed venue full of picture-perfect moments, enchanting characters including Wishmas the Christmas Fairy and cheeky elves, interactive dining with bespoke afternoon tea or breakfast for children, and of course a meet-and-greet with Santa Claus

The event runs on Monday, 22 December 2025, from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with timed sessions throughout the day. Each child will receive a beautifully wrapped gift to take home, families can take unlimited free photographs throughout, adults can enjoy unlimited hot drinks and sweet treats, and with limited spaces, free parking, and babies under 12 months admitted free alongside a paid child ticket, this unforgettable festive experience is designed to create treasured Christmas memories for the whole family.

Santa’s Grotto at Ingleborough Cave For 2025

Step into a magical underground Christmas adventure at Santa’s Grotto at Ingleborough Cave in Clapham, North Yorkshire. Explore the cave’s enchanting passages alongside Santa’s elves before enjoying a special meet-and-greet with Santa himself, complete with gifts for every child. Steam into Christmas on the East Lancashire Railway’s Santa Specials

From Saturday 22 November 2025, you can step aboard the East Lancashire Railway’s famously festive Santa Specials and create magical memories on a journey through the enchanting Irwell Valley. This much-loved Christmas experience is filled with festive characters, surprises, and of course a special visit from Santa himself.

Your adventure begins at Bury Bolton Street Station, where the platform is transformed into a gorgeously decorated winter wonderland. You’ll be greeted by Mrs Claus, meet a talking Christmas tree, and maybe even join in a sing-along with a choir of carol-singing polar bears before boarding the beautifully decorated steam train.

Once on board, the train steams away to Rawtenstall and back on an 80-minute round trip packed with festive cheer. Along the way you’ll encounter colourful Christmas characters, sing along with a lively brass band, and share magical moments with Santa as he visits your carriage with a gift for every child. There’s time for a chat, a Santa selfie, and plenty of festive fun to make the journey unforgettable.

While little ones enjoy their drink, chocolate, and activity pack, grown-ups can sit back with a mince pie and a festive tipple or soft drink as the train winds its way through the winter landscape. This is Christmas on the rails at its most magical.

A Magical Festive Lunch with Father Christmas at The Lawrence

Step into the spirit of the season at The Lawrence in Padiham on the 7th December 2025, where families are invited to enjoy a truly enchanting afternoon at the 3-Course Festive Lunch with Father Christmas. This heartwarming celebration promises a delicious seasonal menu, a cosy festive atmosphere, and the highlight of the day—a visit from Father Christmas himself. Each child will receive a gift and photo, making it a memory to treasure.

Priced at £32 for adults and £17.50 for children (including gift and photo), this experience is perfect for families looking to add a little sparkle to their seasonal celebrations. The full menu will be revealed in September, with preorders required 21 days before the event.

Lunch with Santa at The Wrightington Hotel and Spa

The famous ‘Lunch with Santa’ events have been upgraded this year with the addition of  THE GRINCH! Join Santa for a festive three-course carvery lunch whilst The Grinch causes mischief and laughter throughout the afternoon. Visit Santa’s grotto where our cheeky elf and the man himself await with gifts for all. A truly lovely festive family day.

Visit Santa Claus at Blackpool Pleasure Beach

From 15th November 2025. Visit Santa Claus in his Grotto at the Pleasure Beach and enjoy the festive fun experiences, guided by our magical elves through our winter wonderland. Make your way through our Christmas Grotto where you will meet Miss Christmas Eve who will give children a ‘Do It Yourself’ bauble-making kit, and a brief description of how to put it together.

Guided by elves through Pleasure Beach’s very own grotto, children will walk through a magical interactive walkway where they’ll write a Christmas wish list to hang on the wishing tree, collect reindeer food and a magic key, and of course meet Santa himself. 

Included in the experience, guests can take a trip down the rabbit hole with a ride on Alice in Wonderland, then enjoy hot chocolate with marshmallows – a proper winter warmer!

Magical Christmas Mrs. Dowsons Farm Park– Weekends from 22nd November 2025

Step into Father Christmas’ secret HQ for a festive adventure designed for children aged 18 months to 10 years, accompanied by a responsible adult. The 45–60 minute immersive Christmas journey features festive walkthroughs, live shows, elf mischief, gingerbread decorating, a group meet-and-greet with Santa, photo opportunities, and a special gift for every child, with full access to the wider farm park and one hour of indoor play.
