As the 5th of November 2019 draws ever closer, it’s time to make plans for bonfire night. There are plenty of family friendly options to choose from in London.  So get yourself wrapped up warm and stay safe for a night of gunpowder, treason and plot.

Gilwell Park Fireworks Display

Sunday 27 October 2019   –   Gates Open 4pm, Fireworks Display 7pm

Head to Gilwell Park for a spectacular fireworks and laser display with music and visual effects – a unique experience for all age ranges. The fireworks display will start at 7pm –with gates open from 4pm to enjoy a range of adventurous activities from Rock Climbing to High Ropes and Dodgems, plus a bar and catering vans.   Head over and join them at Scout Adventures Gilwell Park.

Advance tickets: Adults – £8.50, Children – £6, Family (2+2) – £23

On-the-door tickets: Adults – £10, Children – £7.50, Family (2+2) – £33

Children under 5 are free. Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or over.

Ealing Cricket Club

Saturday 2nd November 2019   Gates open at 6pm – please arrive promptly to avoid the queues!   Display at 7.45pm

The Ealing Cricket Club Fireworks Display ‘FIREWORKS SHOWTIME’ will be held this year on Saturday 2nd November 2019. The Display will be set to music with a SHOWTIME theme and includes a laser display prior to the Fireworks. Fireworks Store Ltd will be providing the show which will have something for everyone.

The display will take place near the athletics track.

There are pedestrian entrances on Home Park Road to the south, Revelstoke Road to the east, and Wimbledon Park Road to the northwest.

Held at the iconic Crystal Palace, this will be more than just a Fireworks display, so come down on Saturday 2nd November for a whole evenings’ entertainment.

They’ve got masses of food, a large range of licenced bars, fairgrounds, tented entertainment arenas, an amazing live show from the Lords of Lightning, as well as a bonfire and of course a Fireworks display with lasers that will be second to none.

This year’s event will include:

  • a funfair from 12 noon
  • food and bars from 5pm 
  • a spectacular fireworks display from 8pm which will last around 15 minutes.

Battersea Park

Saturday 2 November 2019   Gates Open 6:00pm

Book in your friends and family as Wandsworth Council’s annual Battersea Park Fireworks is back on Saturday 2 November 2019 to light up the skies of London. One of London’s most iconic parks will welcome 50,000 people to experience the city’s biggest fireworks display this November. The annual display attracts visitors both locally and from across the globe to experience a fireworks display like no other. Award-winning pyro-technicians, Jubilee Fireworks will once again be bringing a spectacular show lasting 22 minutes.

Gates open at 6pm and you can purchase an array of hot food and drinks within the park before the preshow entertainment begins at 7pm. Remember to bring cash as there are no card facilities onsite. The spectacular bonfire will be lit at 7.30pm by the Mayor of Wandsworth, Councillor Jane Cooper with the fireworks beginning at 8pm. Please note, we encourage everyone to arrive by 7.30pm to allow for bag checks and ticket scanning. There will be no entry after 8pm.

There are plenty of food and drinks stalls available – remember to bring cash as there are no card facilities onsite.

NEW for 2019 is the Battersea Park Fireworks Afterparty! The Afterparty will be held within the park at Battersea Evolution and will go on to the early hours of 1am. It is an exclusive partying experience with live music, bars and food available to Battersea Park Fireworks ticket holders only. (Must be purchased with a Battersea Park Fireworks ticket, over 18’s only).

Children aged 10 and under go free but must have a ticket – these can be booked online when purchasing an adult ticket (up to 6 children per adult ticket). Any child tickets booked without the relevant number of accompanying adults tickets will be invalidated.

Southwark Park

Tuesday 5 November 2019 | 17:00 – 20:00

Southwark Council is delighted to announce that its annual fireworks extravaganza, now in its 16th year, will be back once again on Tuesday 5 November in Southwark Park.

Anyone planning to attend the fireworks event should ensure they get their tickets in advance. Please be aware that local routes to the park will be very busy on the night, so travel to the event should be planned in advance.


As this is a popular event everyone wishing to attend will need a ticket, including children and babies. There will be no admission to the Fireworks in Southwark Park without a ticket.

Tickets are free for Southwark residents.

There is a charge for non-residents, over the age of 3 years.

Gates will open at 5pm, with food, drink, children’s funfair and entertainment available until 8pm. Last entry to the park will be at 6.30pm, so please arrive in good time. The fireworks display will begin once everyone is safely inside the park.

Lord Mayor’s Show

Saturday 9 November

There are no fireworks this year but the 2019 Show will once again include Show Zones at Paternoster and Bloomberg providing family entertainment and good food all day. It’s the oldest, the biggest and the best free day out in London.
