Having visited a few Haven holiday parks ourselves (Devon Cliffs, Reighton Sands and Thornwick Bay, Yorkshire), we understand why the resorts are so popular amongst families in search of a UK staycation.
With so many great activities, attractions, and daily entertainment opportunities on offer, Haven has understandably paved its way as one of the biggest names in the UK holiday park industry.
Rivalling companies like Center Parcs, Butlins and Pontins, Haven and its 38 locations all over England, Wales, and Scotland offer holidaymakers the chance to enjoy a fun-packed family getaway. And the best part? A Haven holiday won’t break the bank as they offer budget options as well as more luxury packages!
So, with all that in mind, which of Haven’s 38 locations ranks above the rest? Well, thanks to previous customer reviews, we’ve managed to pick out the top 12 best Haven holiday parks in the UK. So you can book your next UK break knowing exactly what you’re in for.
Devon Cliffs Holiday Park
According to customers, the best Haven park in the UK is the Devon Cliffs Holiday Park in Exmouth, Devon. Located just a stone’s throw away from an award-winning beach, Devon Cliffs offers families a relaxing coastal getaway. And as the park is one of Haven’s largest, boasting acres of land and countless activities, there really is something to excite everyone.
Upon arriving at Devon Cliffs, you’ll have access to an indoor pool, outdoor swimming pools, and an adventure playground. Plus, activities like segway tours, archery, and an adventure golf course. You’re also right in the heart of Devon, meaning attractions like Exmouth Beach, Paignton Zoo, and the Crealy Theme Park & Resort are right around the corner.
In terms of accommodation at Devon Cliffs, you’ll have the choice between affordable caravans and more luxurious lodges. However, even the cheapest caravan option provides you with everything you’d need for a comfortable stay.
Customer review on Trip Advisor – “We’ve just had our first Haven holiday, and for the most part, we are really impressed. We had an absolutely lovely time. The site is beautifully located with lovely views of the sea and super location, plenty of shops and everything you need super close.”

Situated along a stunning coastline that is steeped in history, Haven Thornwick Bay Holiday Village was as far North as we wanted to travel. It was close to places we wanted to visit (such as York and Scarborough) and provided a multitude of activities to keep the kids entertained.
Thornwick Bay is the newest member of the Haven family and is advertised as being unlike any of their other locations.

Hafan y Mor Holiday Park
Aside from being just 20 minutes from one of the UK’s best national parks, Hafan y Mor Holiday Park is also a great Haven option for families with young kids. And that’s mainly thanks to the selection of playgrounds, play areas, soft play, and toddler-friendly pools. You’ll also find water slides, an indoor swimming pool, and a Nerf training camp for the older ones of the family.
Hafan y Mor Holiday Park‘s accommodation options include caravans, lodges, or apartments. So there really is something to suit all budgets and preferences!
Customer review on Trip Advisor – “Awesome haven park! So much for toddlers! We loved our weekend stay, and the price was so reasonable. Great mini Ariel adventure – my two-year-old absolutely loved it. The pool was great too, and brilliant food options.”
Wild Duck Holiday Park
In Great Yarmouth, Norfolk is another of the best Haven parks in the UK. And that’s the Wild Duck Holiday Park. Equipped with caravans and lodges in all different price ranges, Wild Duck is Haven’s only woodland park. And with that comes plenty of outdoor activities for guests to enjoy.
From a bug hunt and den building to nature walks and bike rides, Wild Duck immerses you in the great outdoors. And puts you close to some of Norfolk’s and Suffolk’s most popular attractions.
Customer review on Trip Advisor – “I have stayed at many of the Haven parks across the South and East of the UK, and this is the nicest one I have stayed at. The park is a little different from the others and carries a lot more character than the others. This is because there is less concrete and more woodland!”
Reighton Sands Holiday Park
Reighton Sands Holiday Park in North Yorkshire is yet another of the best Haven parks in the UK. Putting you close to the beach and offering you the chance to unwind, Reighton Sands is the ideal location for those in need of a break from reality.
Customer review on Trip Advisor – “Recently returned from a great stay here. We booked a ‘Silver’ caravan and were fortunate that this caravan was quite new. The caravan was spacious and clean and was situated in a quiet and private location.”
Perran Sands Holiday Park
Perran Sands Holiday Park in Cornwall puts you right next door to one of the UK’s surfing hotspots. But even if surfing isn’t your thing, the park, with its sports courts, 9-hole golf course, and entertainment venues, will be sure to keep you busy throughout the duration of your stay.
What we personally love about the Perran Sands Haven, however, is the accommodation options. Not only can you book caravans and lodges like many other Haven sites. But you can also book chalets, glamping tents, and beach houses! The beach houses, in particular, come with many added luxuries, including an outdoor hot tub, a BBQ, and stunning sea views.
Customer review on Trip Advisor – “Had a fantastic holiday. Very central for visiting sites around Cornwall. The staff were friendly and helpful. The accommodation was clean, tidy and of a very high standard. Would definitely go there again.”
Skegness Holiday Park
Haven’s Skegness location recently went under a multi-million-pound transformation, making it one of the best Haven parks in the UK. Packed full of brand-new activities and facilities, Haven’s Skegness location is the only holiday park within walking distance of Skegness town. And if you know anything about Skegness, you’ll know that it’s one of the UK’s favourite holiday by the sea destinations.
At Skegness, you will only have the choice of a caravan. But like all Haven locations, caravans range from smaller, budget-friendly saver and bronze caravans to larger silver caravans. Some Havens even have gold and signature gold options.
Customer review on Trip Advisor – “Just returned from a 7-night stay, and we all have had an amazing time. Having read other negative reviews, I can honestly say that we found things to be the complete opposite. The caravan was immaculate with all of the basics needed for a pleasant stay provided.”
Littlesea Holiday Park
Littlesea Holiday Park is one of Haven’s family-friendly holiday parks along the UK’s south coast. And if you’re looking to explore towns like Weymouth, Swanage, and West Lulworth, then its location really could be no better.
With so many great beaches just a short car ride away, along with plenty of onsite activities, including archery, adventure golf, and swimming, Littlesea provides guests with the ultimate Jurassic Coast break.
Customer review on Trip Advisor – “We loved this park. Loads to do, clean and tidy, friendly and helpful staff, and a good base for exploring Weymouth and the beaches in the surrounding area.”
Cala Gran Holiday Park
Over in Fleetwood, Blackpool is the Cala Gran Haven Holiday Park. And although you’ll be entertained from morning until night with all the park’s activities, you also have the added bonus of being close to Blackpool’s top attractions.
Whether you choose to head off to Blackpool Tower, Blackpool Pleasure Beach, or Sea Life Blackpool. Or stay onsite and swim, rock climb, or simply just relax; Cala Gran has you covered.
Customer review on Trip Advisor – “Had a great week, fab location for us to explore Blackpool. On-site facilities were good, and we enjoyed the evening entertainment. Our caravan was lovely and had the added bonus of central heating, which was much needed!”
Rockley Park Holiday Park
Another Haven park down in Dorset is the Rockley Park Holiday Park—a further great holiday park option for families looking to explore the Jurassic Coast. Situated just a stone’s throw away from Poole and its magnificent harbour, Rockley Park offers guests a relaxing trip by the seaside with some added activities and attractions thrown in.
With indoor and outdoor pools, day and night entertainment, and a great onsite restaurant, Mash and Barrell, Rockley Park has everything you’d need for a weekend coastal getaway.
Rockley Park is also another Haven location where you can book a glamping tent!
Customer review on Trip Advisor – “We stayed for three nights in the October half term. The weather was very windy and rainy, but it did not stop us from enjoying our weekend away. The caravan was a silver grade in pine grove right next to the beach, which we loved.”
Seashore Holiday Park
Ranking 9th as the best Haven park in the UK is Seashore Holiday Park in Great Yarmouth. With nothing but a short stroll over some sand dunes stopping you from reaching the ocean, Seashore is the ideal park for beach lovers. Thrill seekers will also be pleasantly surprised with Seashore as the park not only boasts an onsite water park. But also adrenaline-based activities like vertical challenge climbing frames and airbag jumps.
With so many additional attractions outside of the park. And options to stay in caravans or lodges, Seashore is an all-round park option for families and couples alike.
Customer review on Trip Advisor – “Lovely park and swimming pool area is fab. Friendly staff and plenty to keep the kids entertained. The restaurant is good, and kids eat for £1, so good value for money. The caravan was lovely and very clean. Would definitely stay here again and recommend.”
Burnham-on-Sea Holiday Village
Over in Somerset is the Burnham-on-Sea Holiday Village—a park that overlooks two panoramic lakes! As the park does overlook the lakes, guests at Burnham-on-Sea can fish, pedalo, or boat, all before splashing around in the indoor or outdoor heated pool.
Onsite, you’ll also find tennis courts, climbing walls, and play areas. Plus, an adventure village and a mini Ariel park which will open in 2024!
Customer review on Trip Advisor – “We recently stayed here for a long weekend at the start of half term. Our gold caravan was good, spacious & felt comfortable for six people. The indoor pool looked great but was slightly on the cold side for what you’d expect for an indoor pool.”
Caister-on-Sea Holiday Park
Caister-on-Sea may just be the oldest holiday park in the UK as it first opened its doors in 1906—the fact that it’s stood the test of time just proves that it is one of the best Haven parks in the UK.
With direct access to miles and miles of sandy beach, plus updated onsite facilities like swimming pools and adventure villages, Caister-on-Sea is the perfect seaside getaway destination.
In addition to the standard Haven park caravans, Caister-on-Sea also boasts deck houses. Deck houses are said to be ultra-modern and provide guests with a balcony or patio to take in the fresh sea breeze.
Customer review on Trip Advisor – “Wanted a base while we visited Great Yarmouth and the surrounding area. Glad we chose Caister on Sea. The park was clean and well maintained; the shop had everything you could need, and if you didn’t feel like cooking, there was a lot of choice available.”
