It’s that time of year, where the big man himself starts popping up all over London. A visit to Santa Clause in London in 2025 can be truly magical and memorable experience. However it is good to do a bit of research to avoid it transcending into a day of queuing and disappointment.

1. See Santa at Hamleys in 2025
From mid November to Christmas Eve, excited children can visit Father Christmas in one of the favourite toy shops in London. The clever Hamleys Elves have created the perfect grotto and designed fun games and activities, and young visitors will also receive a gift to take home.
While Santa’s welcomes visitors between 2 and 8 years old, the whole family is welcome to join in the fun.

2. Santa At The Langham London
This festive season, you can step into the magic of Christmas as The Langham, London partners once again with the world-famous Hamleys toy store to bring joy and wonder to your family celebrations. At the Palm Court, you’ll enjoy a Hamleys-inspired Christmas Afternoon Tea, where patisseries take the shape of iconic toys and nostalgic favourites are reimagined with a refined festive twist.
The enchantment continues with the return of the Hamleys Christmas Grotto at The Langham. Where, your children will meet Santa and his cheerful elves, delight in sweet festive treats, and take home a special gift to treasure long after the holidays.
If you’re staying in a One-Bedroom Suite or above, you’ll have exclusive access to book the Hamleys Grotto as an add-on to your stay for £275. This intimate experience is available on a first-come-first-served basis and ensures your little ones share an unforgettable Christmas moment with Santa.

3. Santa at Willows Activity Farm, near St Albans 2025

Step into a world of festive wonder with a spectacular visit to Santa in his grotto, where your child will receive a golden key to his Toy Shop and choose a gift to treasure. Your visit also includes creating your very own cuddly toy in the make-a-bear workshop, decorating gingerbread, enjoying a hands-on toy workshop, joining a reindeer hunt with prizes, gliding across a magical synthetic ice rink, and experiencing festive shows, funfair rides, adventure play, farm animals, and Peter Rabbit’s Adventure Playground.
Children under 90cm tall must have their own ticket. If you’d like your little one under 90cm to visit Santa’s Toy Shop to receive a gift, take part in Create-a-Cuddle, the Toy Workshop, and gingerbread decorating, you’ll need to purchase the ‘Under 90cm with Gift’ top-up ticket.

4. Santa at London Zoo 2025
Little ones will get a sprinkling of Christmas magic as they learn what it takes to become one of Santa’s helpers at the elf school before meeting Santa in his magical grotto and even book a story telling session with Mrs Claus, at the heart of London Zoo. Every child will receive a very special early Christmas gift to take home.

5. Santa at Bocketts Farm, Leatherhead Surrey, 2025
A trip to Santa at Bocketts Farm is one our family favourites. The children board Santa’s trailer and a tractor pulls them to a beautifully decorated hay barn to meet Santa. Each child receives a lovely gift and has a chance to share their Christmas wishes with Santa. A visit to the farm is included in the price of the ticket so children can also enjoy all that is on offer there, including festive crafts, a large indoor play area and hopefully some newborn lambs.
Enjoy a magical and festive family day out at Bocketts Farm including a visit to meet Father Christmas in his traditional workshop.

6. Santa at Winter Wonderland, Hyde Park 2025
Nothing beats a visit to Father Christmas in his grotto, and the best part is, visiting Santa is free! He and his elves welcome children every day of the event until 6 pm (except Christmas Day, when he’s busy delivering presents!). He returns on Boxing Day and remains until January 1st, ready to receive your thank-you letters. Children of all ages can meet Father Christmas on a first-come, first-served basis and receive a small gift if they’ve been good. Visitors are welcome to take their own photos, and an official photographer will also be on hand for special souvenir shots available for purchase.
Please note that the grotto queue is outside, so wrap up warm, and arrive early at peak times to avoid disappointment. The queue may close early some days to ensure Father Christmas sees every child before he feeds his reindeer.

7. Santa at Morden Hall in 2025

8. The Santa Steam Express From Victoria Station 2025

10. Santa at the London Transport Museum 2025
We don’t yet know when Santa will be touching down at the London Transport Museum. Children will delight in boarding a Routemaster-inspired sleigh to activate the headlights, ring the bell, and max out the Christmas cheer-o-meter!
The London Transport Museum are also hosting an array of captivating family activities that extend through the New Year.
