October Half Term is one of the trickier times to book a warm family friendly holiday abroad. It can be hard to find places (with a short flight) where you will get the sun, but equally where it won’t matter too much if you don’t as there are other things to do. However this year I think I may have managed it!

If you followed by blog earlier this year you will know that we are huge fans of Greece already. We have spent the last few summers in Sivota and Lefkas and can’t wait to find out what Cyprus has to offer, apart from its wonderful hotels and beaches. Â I know that once I get to Cyprus I will struggle to be torn away from this beautiful view, but I also know there is much more of the Island to explore.
I talked to Visit Cyprus earlier this month and have already planned a day out at Fassouri Water Park, a drive into the hills and a morning visiting Apesia Hills Donkey Sanctuary.  If I combine these trips with meals out, lying on the beach and playing with the kids in the fabulous pools (with water slides!!!) then I think we have the perfect half term break, don’t you!
Full Review to follow when we are back!!
NB: We are lucky to enough to have been invited to stay at Amathus and Four Seasons Cyprus.

That looks amazing. Do you have any recommendations for Feb half-term?
Sounds amazing Karen! Looking forward to reading about your autumn sun!
Sounds a fantastic half term break Karen. I have been looking at Cyprus for next summer. Enjoy the sunshine. We are off to Scotland which I suspect might not be as sunny x
