Why not get the children involved in choosing their own straight from a pumpkin patch near you? There’s stacks of Halloween Festival fun at Piglet’s Adventure Farm every weekend in October and everyday during half term. The festival includes magic shows, Mysterious Maize Maze Challenge, pumpkin carving and a tractor ride to pick a free pumpkin for every full paying child. Plus there are other activities on offer.

The Pumpkin Patch Produce, Driffield | Picking Pumpkins in Yorkshire

With a huge display of hundreds of pumpkins and squashes of all varieties, whether for cooking or carving, you can choose your very own direct from the farm.
As well as the usual dawn until dusk opening hours at the farm from late September and throughout October, there will be several Pick Your Own Pumpkin events allowing visitors to pick pumpkins directly from the field. Pick your own events are weather dependent.

This year Spilmans have planted 30,000 pumpkins and squashes. They have white, red, green, yellow and of course orange in all shapes and sizes from miniature up to enormous whoppers over 20kg! Come on down and pick your own pumpkin from 30th September, 10am – 4pm. There is no need to book to pick your own pumpkins – just turn up on whichever day you like.
They recommend booking your carving barn Halloween Festival tickets for our peak days, to ensure you can enjoy carving your pumpkin on-site and experience all the other spooky entertainment that is going on!
You can purchase tickets for any day on the carving barn and this will ensure you always get a space.
Carving barn costs £6 per child or family ticket (4 kids) for £22.
