Our recent trip to Pub in the Park was a wonderful experience, combining delicious food, great music, and a relaxed, family-friendly vibe. Set in the picturesque grounds of Chiswick House, this festival is perfect for food lovers and families, offering a weekend full of tasty treats and entertainment.
The highlight of Pub in the Park is the food. Curated by the famous chef Tom Kerridge, the festival features pop-up pubs and restaurants offering a huge selection of dishes for a fixed price of £7 per portion, alongside their ‘pub specials’ priced separately. From Michelin-starred meals to comforting pub favourites, there’s something for everyone and each offer. The festival guide lists each menu, including kid-friendly dishes. The variety and quality of food were impressive, making it a treat for all food lovers.

Pub in the Park is fantastic for families. The festival layout is spacious and safe, allowing kids to explore while parents relax and enjoy the day. There is a kids’ area where you can find ice cream, pick ’n mix, a play area and lots to entertain the children. A penalty shootout with Brentford FC, music with Chiswick School, Forest School workshops and dancing with Big Fish Little Fish were all planned for the weekend.
The festival isn’t just about food; it’s also about music and fun. We enjoyed great live performances from The Feeling, Stereo MCs and De La Soul. The music line-up suited different tastes, ensuring everyone had a good time. Alongside the bands on the Main stage, there were DJs playing dance tracks, and a packed schedule of live interviews with top food-authors, cooking demonstrations and book signings.

What makes Pub in the Park special is its warm and welcoming feel. The staff and vendors were friendly and made us feel at home. The festival attracts a diverse crowd of all ages, creating a sense of community. Despite being busy, everything was well-organized, from food queues to seating, making it a stress-free experience for families.
We were happy that Pub in the Park has introduced a reusable cup scheme, has lots of recycling stations, and focuses on local produce to reduce their impact on the planet.
Pub in the Park is more than just a food festival; it’s a great experience for all ages. Amazing food, live music, and family-friendly activities make it a must-visit event. If you’re looking for a fun day out with the family or a chance to enjoy top-notch food, Pub in the Park is the perfect choice. We can’t wait to go back next year!
