Rich and Matt are back in Edinburgh with a bumper music-themed show. Once again the Australian double act are a firm festival favourite and get a huge thumbs up from us. A packed crowd hooted with laughter from start to finish and everyone, young and old, left the House of Oz with a great big smile across their face.
There is something infectious about The Listies’ sense of nonsense, they find a laugh in the everyday. The show is brim-full with high jinx and toilet humour as ever, sketches included Rich’s Music Presentation and The Baby, which had me wiping the tears of laughter from my face. The audience were roped into the fun for the audience orchestra and the show came to a noisy close with a brilliant all-action singalong to ‘Wacky Arm Waving Inflatable Person’ surely a classic in the making! I turned to Jonah and asked if at 13 he thought he was getting a bit too old for The Listies. “Never” he replied, and I think he’s probably right.
Brighten up your day and get along to Make Some Noise.
