From the moment we arrived, the tone was set—headless horsemen greeted us on the approach, looming in the mist and adding a dramatic flair that instantly captured the Halloween spirit. It was the perfect eerie welcome to kick off the evening.
Trail Highlights: Just Right for Little Legs
The trail is ideal for younger children—long enough to feel like an adventure, but short enough to avoid tired feet. Even with wind and rain, the route held up well, making it a great all-weather activity.
Twilight is Where the Magic Happens
While the trail runs from late afternoon, it truly comes alive after dark. Twinkling lights, lasers, glowing pumpkins, and eerie shadows create a magical atmosphere that older kids and Halloween fans will love.
Marshmallow Mayhem
Don’t miss the marshmallow toasting station! At £7.50, it’s not cheap, but the giant marshmallow stick topped with chocolate sauce and sprinkles was a hit—especially the cheekily named Unicorn Poo. The portion is very generous, and our children found it a bit too much to finish—so it’s definitely one you can share between two. A special shoutout to the friendly security guard who helped the little ones toast theirs while we adults focused on the perfect roast.
Actors & Atmosphere
The live actors were fantastic—spooky, engaging, and never too intense. Our favourite was the tarot reader, who added a mystical twist and had us laughing too with her witty and playful readings. The fire show was a standout moment, turning the trail into a full-on performance.
Foodie Frights
There’s a wide range of food options, from creepy-themed snacks to hearty meals. Just be prepared: prices are on the higher side, so plan accordingly if you’re feeding hungry ghouls.
Scary or Spectacular?
Some parts of the trail might be a bit much for children who aren’t fans of Halloween frights. But for those who love a good scare (like ours), it’s a thrilling adventure with just the right amount of spooky.
Staff That Go the Extra Mile
From actors to marshmallow helpers, the team were all warm, helpful, and clearly enjoying the Halloween spirit. Their enthusiasm added to the magic of the night.

Just got back from your halloween trail and was so disappointed we went last year and it was so amazing we payed £73 for 2 adults and 1 child plus £10 parking this year and it was not worth it!! Last year the fire jugglers were amazing the actors brilliant they got all the audience involved the horseman was amazing. this year was not so good not as much detail as the year before feel a little cheated . Food prices were high £14 for a hot dog.
