Travel Tips: Pipity Activity Sets

Take a read of this review and find out what we thought of the Pipity Activity Sets.

AD | I have been or could be if you click on a link in this post compensated via a cash payment, gift or something else of value for writing this post. See our full disclosure policy and privacy policy for more details.

We’ve just returned from a rather wonderful Villa Holiday in Greece. As we were travelling with Simpson Travel and BA, we had a very large baggage allowance, and actually took quite a lot of kids games with us; however that’s not always an option. When we fly to Cyprus in October we have only booked one case into the hold, so activities for the kids in hand luggage will be limited as I will have to fill it with clothes!

Pipity Activity Sets

When the lady who created Pipity contacted me about her new activity sets, I at first politely declined as we had just returned from holiday;  however when I looked on her website I almost bit her hand off and asked if she could send some over and we could take them away with us in October.

You’ll note that there are no pictures of the kids with the activity sets and that’s deliberate on my part. One of the things I find works best with the kids, to them amused when we are travelling, is to give them something to play with that’s brand new.   In October it will be these sets!

Pipity Activity Sets

What I know my three crafters will just LOVE about these sets is the scissors and glue! On our recent trip we treated them to the obligatory holiday comic and then they couldn’t actually do half of the activities because they didn’t have any scissors or glue! Queue sad faces! Next time they will have the scissors (children’s blunt ones so no security issues) and the glue and they can not only make the activities in the comics but in the activity books too..

Pipity Activity Sets

I haven’t even mentioned the activity books yet. The activity sets come with one activity book included that you can tear off sheets from and attach with the elastic strips, or the straps do keep the whole book in too; perfect for moving buses, cars, trains or planes. These activity sheets include all sorts of different activities and I can’t imagine we could run out on one trip. However if you think you might, you can buy additional books (£4,99 each), I think the dress up dolls activity book is going to be a real hit in our house!

At £24.99 they are quite expensive I think, but this is a start up and they are not bulk made. They also include an activity book and when you think a comic costs £4 these days the cost starts to make sense. They are also perfectly formed and look like they will last for sometime (I’ll report back if they don’t) so for something that they make, colour with, glue, cut and stick I love it.

We’ve also been sent some Pipity Portfolios to try out, which can be used to put all the art and craft in. Given our limited hand luggage on our next flight, I’m not sure we will definitely find room to fit the portfolios in the suitcase but we will most definitely try.

These make a fabulous travel gift and I can’t wait for the girls to use them! Watch this space!

If you’d like to buy a Pipity set, Amazon fulfils their orders and you can find the sets here! or why not PIN this post for later!

These are absolutely amazing Karen! I took bagfuls of stuff to Camp Bestival to keep the boys entertained in the caravan and all they ended up doing was colouring. This kind of thing is perfect! What a great idea! Xx
