When I’m packing for the family holiday I want multipurpose clothes: things that do more than one job so in theory I have to think about and less to pack. Splash About wetsuits definitely fit that criteria and have become an essential item for us to take on holidays where there is a beach or a pool.
Putting the kids in Splash About Wetsuits keeps them warmer so they can enjoy playing in the sea or pool for longer. Perfect in the UK, where British weather is changeable and rarely that hot you’ll get away with a bikini on the beach! With SPF 50 it means those bursts of sunshine are not going to catch us out either (so long as you remember to apply sun cream to the bits not covered by the suit).
What I also love about Splash About wetsuits is that they are made with playful colours and patterns that make the kids stand out to me. My daughter is wearing the Owl and the Pussy Cat design and my son is wearing the Under the Sea design. Splash About wetsuits are made of high quality neoprene and so they are lightweight, stretchy and really comfortable. My children always want to wear them so for me that’s a huge indicator that they are comfortable to wear. Care-wise these wetsuits just need to be rinsed and dried after use, it couldn’t be easier.

Splash About wetsuits are wind, rain and sand proof. A fantastic, and I’m sure non-deliberate, side effect is that they stop the sand sticking everywhere so when it came to leaving the beach it’s a quick change into their dry clothes. The suits are easy to whip off because of the long zip up the front, which incidentally is also handy for those quick dashes to the loo!
If you like the look of the wetsuits our kids are in get them quick as they are in the Sale for only £15.99 each! https://www.splashabout.com/
