Tonight, I took my 13 year old daughter to see Jersey Boys which is on at the Winter Gardens in Blackpool.
Hitting Blackpool for the first time, this smash hit sensation follows the story of four young guys from Jersey and their rollercoaster ride to musical success.
Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons brings together friendship, drama, success and a story of survival accompanied by non stop songs, which create this pitch perfect musical.

This show is incredible from start to finish.
The entire cast is superb with fabulous energy throughout which creates a buzz in the audience.
The actor playing Frankie Valli was the most amazing singer, but that in no way diminishes the other band members who were also fantastic.
As Jersey Boys the musical unfolds so does the rise and fall of the Four Seasons and the drama that comes from being from the wrong side of the tracks. Running for 2.5 hours and with 30 songs the show is busy but fits together with   seamless changes in backdrop supporting the story.
With so many familiar songs weaved into Jersey Boys the Musical the cast had the audience on their feet, clapping and dancing along. The musical features many of the pop songs from the sixties including Big Girls Don’t Cry, Oh What A Night and Can’t Take My Eyes Off You.
Running at The Winter Gardens until Sat 27th August. With adult themes and language I would thoroughly recommend it for adults and older children.
