As we’ve spent quite a lot of time in Africa with the kids, its a question I get asked a lot. I also see this question pop up time and time again in groups I’m in. Who should we use to book a trip to Botswana, who for Tanzania, who have you used, have your friends got any recommendations.
So whilst this post should not be a guarantee of excellence, and should not be taken as confirmation that we have used them (unless I say we’ve used them) it’s a great starting point. I’ve also tried to include as many personal recommendations and blog posts of trips from people who have travelled to Africa and used said companies too.

It’s also a work in progress and will hopefully be updated with more recommendations and suggestions as we go on.

Once we had decided to make it happen, it really wasn’t as easy as all that (family Holidays in Rwanda are not all that common) until I found Katina of World Fusion Tours, an Aussie then based in Rwanda. It was then that our family adventure came together easily; she understood our aims and also our concerns, and we set about creating a trip that was about more than just seeing the gorillas!
