If you’re anything like me then nothing says Christmas more than some twinkly lights, Santa and a glass of fizz. Luckily this December you can do all three together by heading to Christmas at Dunham Massey in Cheshire.

Firmly positioned as a must-see within the UK’s festive calendar, Christmas at Dunham Massey has everything you need for an unforgettable experience with friends and family. They’ve been doing this a long time now and they know what they are doing.

Christmas at Dunham Massey 2023 will run from 17 November to 31 December. Tickets are allocated by staggered trail start times and digital or printed tickets are accepted. If you’re a little bit late this won’t matter but do try to stick to your times so that everyone is spread out.

The trail is approximately one mile long and we’d recommend allowing 1 to 2 hours for your visit. The time it takes you will also depend on the weather. It took 3 adults and 3 teens around 1hr 15 minutes to do and we stopped half way round for hot chocolate.

Be aware that the event closes 1.5 hours after the last allocated entry time so if you think you’re going to be slower then perhaps choose an earlier start time.

What did we think of Dunham Massey at Christmas?

We absolutely loved it and it will now go on my list of things to do to kick off the festive season. I’ve said this before about Christmas Lights, and I know we got lucky with this one. The weather was just right, not too warm, not too cold and completely dry – this makes such a difference to your evening – but even still we thought the actual lights installation was incredible too. Take a look, and they are so much more impressive in person too.

What else can you expect when you visit Dunham Massey at Christmas?

Apart from the amazing light trail at Dunham Massey this Christmas you can eat fantastic food and get into the Christmas spirit by exploring Christmas fairground rides too.
