Tip: Mild weather meant the ice turned slushy, so expect damp clothes. We recommend scheduling skating at the end of your day to avoid soggy children during the Palace tour.

While magical, the marshmallow option could be more family-friendly—currently, it’s three giant marshmallows for £7.50. We saw families splitting them up, which works well, but expect sticky fingers once toasted and topped!

The Christmas market is a treasure trove of seasonal delights. Charming wooden cabins host stalls selling artisan cheeses, indulgent chocolates, cheeky boozy tipples, jewellery, and handcrafted paper goods—perfect for unique gifts.
