Climbing has gone technicolour at Awesome Walls with the opening of Liverpool’s first Clip ‘n Climb Adventure Park!
Clip ‘n Climb takes climbing into another dimension, creating an immersive, fun, vibrant and adrenaline fuelled experience. Lights, colour, shapes and textures all work together to create a world of fun and creativity to explore, no matter what your age or ability level.
The new adventure park (which has been built inside the Awesome Walls existing Church Building) features nineteen Clip ‘n Climb climbing stations. They range from fun adventures for young children on their first climb to trickier challenges for seasoned climbers (which mine would like to think they are, but aren’t really) looking to try something new!
The Clip ‘n Climb action stations include:
For anyone who’s ever fancied scaling a glacier, this challenge uses the same ice axe technique used in real ice climbing. Climbers place their ‘axes’ in holes in the top of each hold, which also doubles as the foothold and work their way steadily up the climb. It requires a great sense of balance and body movement to beat this awesome challenge!
Colourful LED lights reflect brilliantly off a metallic checkerplate surface to create a visually engrossing challenge. This climb offers lots and lots of different ways to climb on a unique terrain. Careful climbing and problem-solving capacities are a top priority to succeed!
Invaders from another dimension provide a super fun problem-solving challenge for ‘astronuts’ of all ages. LED lighting adds interplanetary atmospherics. Avoid the nasty aliens and reach the friendly smiley face at the top to secure freedom.
A crisp and colourful-looking climb, which allows mini climbers to steadily weave their way to the top. The yellow route represents a major challenge even for taller climbers and requires great flexibility and problem-solving abilities. Heaps of options and lots of colour for climbers of all ages and experience levels!
Everyone has those childhood memories of climbing trees and now they can be re-lived by climbing this beautiful decorative recycled tree. A brilliant way to experience a classic challenge that we all grew up on and to introduce the kids to one of life’s great pleasures!
