25 of the Best Eurocamp Sites for Families!

So which are the Best Eurocamp sites for families?

AD | I have been or could be if you click on a link in this post compensated via a cash payment, gift or something else of value for writing this post. See our full disclosure policy and privacy policy for more details.

Eurocamp was a firm family favourite when I was growing up.  I have fond memories of long drives down through France to get to a site, the excitement of finding our tent or our caravan, of kids clubs and trips to the Boulangerie for breakfast, and of swimming pools and lakes to swim in.  Eurocamp sites still provide all that but they also provide much much more too!

When faced with the Eurocamp website though and over 190 parcs in 10 European countries, including family favourites France, Spain and Italy. Where do you choose? Which Eurocamp Sites are best for families?

I’ve set this post out by Country and have linked into the post reviews written by Mini Travellers and other bloggers, many of whom have worked in collaboration with Eurocamp but whose views are always their own.

Northern France – Camping Holiday in France

Domaine de Drancourt (Picardy)

Domaine de Drancourt  is in the grounds of a French château, which is just a short hop over the Channel. Bringing up Charlie says, ‘It’s handy, being not far from the Channel ports and well situated for all sorts of activities including the World War One battlefields I was keen to visit.’ Read More…

La Bien Assise Campsite(Picardy)

La Bien Assise Campsite . Whether you’re on a short stopover from Calais or planning a longer stay, there’s plenty to explore at La Bien-Assise, a peaceful parc that’s set in the the grounds of a French château. The parc even organises walks into the surrounding woods. Overall, Mama Scribbles thought this park was wonderful and that their whole Eurocamp experience was fantastic. They would absolutely return again for another holiday and would definitely look at going to other parks too   Read More… from Mama Scribbles

Our two year old was able to go to Mini Fun Station Plus (up to 5 years old) sessions accompanied by an adult and she enjoyed playing musical instruments, singing, painting and playing games.’

Camping Le Capeyrou (Dordogne)

Camping Le Capeyrou small, intimate parc is set on the banks of the Dordogne River, beneath a majestic cliff-top castle made of limestone (don’t miss the guided tour!). On parc, there are only 100 tent pitches, because of its designation by the French government as a protégée (protected) area. Nicola from Globalmouse visited with her family and called it an absolute gem of a holiday park. You can read the full review Read More…

Luxembourg – Camping Holiday in Luxembourg

Birkelt Campsite (Larochette)

Birkelt Campsite also known as Little Switzerland. A beautiful location which makes Birkelt parc such a great idea for a holiday.  There are meadows, woodlands and peaceful rivers all around; on parc you’ll find an impressive pool complex featuring an outdoor paddling pool (open from the end of June) and a domed, all-weather swimming pool with a retractable roof that opens when the sun arrives. The pool complex is only one of a long list of impressive facilities, which includes free Wi-Fi, horse riding, kids’ disco, play area, plus an excellent bar, restaurant and take-away. Little Switzerland is a big surprise. The Mini’s & Me were immediately drawn to it because it looked reasonably small and peaceful from the descriptions (426 pitches), yet it had enough entertainment and nearby attractions to keep them occupied for the Sunday-Friday break. You just can’t beat them for family holidays. We have done a few now and if it wasn’t for Eurocamp I wouldn’t have met my husband. We did met on a site in Brittany at the end of a long but fun season working for them

Not technically a Eurocamp, but Siblu on the west coast of France just near La Rochelle is fantastic. Our kids badgered us for a return visit.
