Thinking about a Walt Disney World Holiday

If you’ve read my blog before you probably know that we have three little girls aged 4, 3 and 3 who love nothing more than pretending to be princesses.  We have been considering a Walt Disney World trip for a while now but wondered if they were a bit too young.  I recently stumbled across this article by Have Baby Will Travel on what age is the best age to go and her summary is any age!! So it got me thinking a little bit more.  Like most little girls they have been obsessed with Frozen since they saw it and having just taken them to see Cinderella yesterday (which was amazing and they loved it) we have decided it is time to start to plan a trip!

Sarah of Extraordinary Chaos has written a LOT of fantastic posts about Disney and in particular I will be making sure I read these before I start to plan anything properly:

  2. We went 18 months ago. S was just under 2 and J had just turned 4. S gave the biggest reaction when she saw the castle from the train… that is something I will never forget. We loved every moment of it. We are going back again this November as it’s the quietest time for queues. We found alot of information on the dibb forum from alot of well experienced Disney travellers.
We stay in a private villa so we have our own private pool as well as kitchen. You will love it as much as the girls will. 🙂

  3. Its nearly 4 years to the day that we first visited the magic of Disneyworld for our ‘once in our lifetime’ holiday. Who knew then that we would return the following 2 years. Our children were 5 and 8 and I totally get that any age is the best age to visit. Your girls would be so immersed in all that Disney has to offer and its truly a magical place. We hope to return (hopefully next year) and again we would get a totally different experience now the children are older. The planning alone is so magical and exciting and I know Sarah also has some amazing tips. Exciting times ahead for you and your gorgeous girls (and your hubby of course) xx

  4. Oh, I would love to take Little Miss H to Disney World but I do feel that at not quite 2 she is a little young. Mr H really doesn’t want to go. But Little Miss H’s spare mummy Aunty A has already been booked to coming with us. I know it is a few years off but it makes me excited just to think of it. I can’t wait to hear all about your plans for your trip. Hugs Mrs H xxxx
