Planning a trip to Florence? Find a Hotel in the Heart of the City!

The city of Florence is definitely one of the most evocative in Italy, but it is easy to be taken in by a cheap offer and find yourself in a hotel that doesn’t work for you or your family.

It is well known that Florence is one of the most beautiful cities in the world thanks to the abundance of monuments, historic buildings, and art museums.  However the city itself is also beautiful, just wander down the streets, take a look at the ordinary buildings and soak up the atmosphere.  It’s well worth a visit.  What can however be tricky is finding the right hotel in Florence.  This is not an easy task.  Take it from someone who has stayed in a terrible hotel in 40 degree heat with no air conditioning and too many beds for the size of the room!

It can be easy to be taken in by a cheap offer which, online, sounds amazing: saving money while staying in the centre of the city, that’s the dream. Unfortunately, there are very few accommodation options that actually offer that kind of position in Florence. Hotel Brunelleschi is amongst the very few, and is a fabulous option if you are looking for a hotel located in the very heart of Florence: the hotel is situated right between Piazza della Signoria and Santa Maria del Fiore.  The very centre of the city.

Hotel Brunelleschi is not only extremely convenient thanks to its position ( you don’t have to use public transport you can just walk to move around soaking up the atmosphere) this accommodation is also unique for other reasons: It’s a four star hotel, and the managers clearly have an eye for luxury; beside that, the hotel itself is part of the history of Florence as it has been built within a circular byzantine tower from the 6th century.

Hotel Brunelleschi also excels with its food: the restaurant is in fact the home of a top class chef, so that you can truly enjoy an authentic Italian experience.

So, if you are looking for a great and unforgettable experience, don’t be afraid go for the best and, why not, spoil yourself a bit, especially if you are travelling with the family and you want to take a break from everyday life.
