We are off to Nozstock this year with friends, all 22 of us! Mini Travellers sent a scoping party to Nozstock 2016 who came back raving about it (read our review here!) and said it was fabulously family friendly, so we are going en masse this year! 10 adults and 12 kids!
So what is Nozstock?
Nozstock The Hidden Valley, is a family-run, family friendly and home-made festival set across a working farm in stunning rural Herefordshire, and it returns for its 19th year across Friday 21st – Sunday 23rd July.
It’s a charming and beguiling festival, surrounded by rolling hills and a world away from reality. It’s a weekend of escapism, inspiration and enchantment which encompasses everything from pop, ska (I have no idea what this is!), folk, funk, hip-hop, drum and bass, house and a whole lot more. This year’s theme of Keepin’ It Surreal will see the farm transformed into a wondrous world of oddities and mystery, with plenty of inspiration for fancy dressers across all ages.
Who is performing?
The festival is proud to announce first wave of live headliners, including Seasick Steve, Happy Mondays, General Levy, Ocean Wisdom, Mungo’s Hi-Fi, Beans on Toast, Rodney P & Skitz, The Correspondents, Dabbla Illaman and DJ Frosty, Land of The Giants, Stiff Joints, Chainska Brassika and many more.
DJs includes Krafty Kuts & Dynamite MC, Delta Heavy, Hazard and Eksman, Loadstar, Mind Vortex, Frankee, 15 Years of Critical Records feat. Break, Ivy Lab, Kasra, Foreign Concept and many more.
Being very close to 40 I pretty much have no idea who any of those people are but
Happy Mondays are Headlining!!!!
I also know it won’t actually matter if we don’t know who they are before we go as the whole point is just to have fun!
