I decided to start this feature ‘Your Family Holidays’ not only because I’m nosy, but because I, like others, like to take inspiration from where other people have been. I also like to find out where people really want to go i.e what their aspirational family holiday is?

My best family holiday so far, and I’m typing this on a coach on the way to the Alps so that may change!?! Was our trip to Mousses, Lefkas last year. The place really is practically perfect. So perfect that we have in fact booked to go back in June this year. 12 villas around a pool with an on-site restaurant, that will deliver food to your villa. Qualified nannies to run the small but perfectly formed crèche and the stunning Lefkas Town a very short distance away. What more could you want!

My aspirational holiday was skiing, and I can’t quite believe I am on my way to do just that now courtesy of my now favourite holiday company of all time, Mark Warner. So I need to add another aspirational trip. I actually want to add two, this if the first feature so why not!

Safari in Africa – probably Namibia or South Africa. Both hubby and I love Africa. Hubby has Africa in his bones as he spent the first five years of his life there. I just love it. We have both done safaris and know how special they are, so we want to pass that love of the Orange dust onto our kids. The thought of the flight does put me off, but it really would be worth it.

Chester Zoo

Disneyland Florida – My three girls love Disney in all ways. They love princesses and queens and talking animals. It would be incredible to see the look on their faces it we actually went to a land where they could meet their favourite characters and eat breakfast with Anna and Elsa. I really want to do this before they grow up. I know I want to try and do Disney with them a few times over the years (want want want I know) but would love to start this now when they have so much enthusiasm for adventure.

So that’s my favourite and aspirational holidays? Would you like to tell us about yours? If so do get in touch and we can host yours.

What a lovely idea… I definitely have some up my sleeve and seeing as I go to Thailand in 4 weeks, that may soon become our best family holiday! I’ll love to join in with this then? Hope you had the most amazing time skiing. I can’t wait to read all about it 🙂

I would love to take my boys to El Questro in the Northern Territories in Australia. About a 12 hour drive from Darwin, El Questro really is in the heart of the outback. You can send your day a swimming in waterfalls and rivers, hiking, exploring the bush and basically being outdoors. Its a fantastic place!

OOoh there’s so many places I want to go/ take the girls but like you Disney has to be at the top of the list!! I’d like to do Paris soon-ish and then Florida when they’re a little older – but not too old! My parents took me (and my brother) for my 12th birthday. Thanks for linking up to #sundaystars xxx

Ooh, our best family holiday was a 6 week trip to New Zealand just before my eldest started school (when we could still take time off outside of holidays). I’d love to take them on another long trip but finances and school get in the way now! #sundaystars

Such a great idea, I look forward to reading lots of lovely posts! I’d love to take Zach to Florida – his grandparents want to take all the kids but I’ve felt that he’s too young at the moment. Hopefully it’ll happen soon though hehe!! Otherwise our holidays aren’t very adventurous! We are going to Norfolk in July hehe!! #sundaystars

I have such a long list of places I want to take my family and typically none of them are likely to be cheap!
I am another who wants to take the whole family to Florida. I would love to see the look on their little faces when they see their favourite characters face to face. The youngest has been to Disneyland Paris and even at 18 months old he was blown away!
My dream holiday for when the kids are bigger is a road trip around Australia finishing with diving the Great Barrier Reef. How 6 of us would fit in a camper van is the biggest question though! Cosy! #SundayStars

I’m really lucky in that I’ve been to most places I really want to go to in Europe. But I have a list a mile long of other places I need to go to. I’d love to take my kids to Florida and do Disney etc. I’ve always wanted to go to India since I was little, I think a part of me imagines it to be all Bollywoodesque and there’s all the colours and the dancing & music and then there’s the food

As a family, our favourite holiday so far has to be Disneyland Paris last December. Our kids are Disney mad and it lived up to each and every expectation. Hoping to go back again next December, the parks at Christmas are just magical!
