Holiday Essentials: Prescription Sunglasses

Share

When I was younger and I went on holiday I didn’t worry too much about how much I was wearing my lenses or my glasses, and as I only really had to worry about getting up and sleeping/reading a book by the pool I didn’t need to worry about seeing anything!  However this all changed when I had the children and they started running about round the pool, then it was essential to be able to see. The last couple of times we have been away I have been swapping between my glasses and my sunglasses every time the kids asked me for something, so when I was asked to review a pair of prescription glasses from GlassesShop.com, I thought it would be a fab opportunity.

But how would it work? How could I choose glasses and order them online. I have bought lots of glasses before but never without trying them on.  All you need to use the site is a recent prescription and to know your pupillary distance. It explains on the site how to measure your pupillary distance and it is actually really easy! I then looked at all the pictures on the website and picked some sunglasses I thought were funky.   These are called Betsy Square and are white and rose! What do you think?

My delivery took a little bit of time but this site has recently taken off in a big way, so they are working very hard to keep up with demand.  They arrived in a hard case though and are in perfect condition.  The glasses were $65.95 (around £40) and I LOVE them.  I have already seen another pair of aviators which I am very tempted to order. Take a look for yourself.

Highly recommended.

Disclosure:  I was sent these glasses in return for an honest review.

  1. I can’t imagine buying prescription glasses on line, how scary! I always have to try on so many and have some else there for an opinion as I can’t actually see without my glasses on… Very brave 🙂 thanks for sharing #sundaystars
